Why we built Signal

Clients started asking us a new question: "What does ChatGPT say about us?" Answering it well turned out to require the same disciplines we apply to any platform decision: careful measurement, clear ownership of data, and honest reporting of uncertainty. Existing tools tended to present a single answer as a ranking, or a score without a denominator. We wanted something we could put in front of a client's leadership team and defend line by line.
